What is coworking?

Wikipedia provides a good basic definition about coworking:

Coworking is an arrangement in which several workers from different companies share an office space, allowing cost savings and convenience through the use of common infrastructure, such as equipment, utilities, and receptionist and custodial services, and in some cases refreshments and parcel acceptance services. It is attractive to independent contractors, independent scientists, telecommuting and work-at-home professionals, and people who travel frequently. Additionally, coworking helps workers avoid the isolation they may experience while telecommuting, traveling, or working at home, while also eliminating distractions. Some coworking spaces charge membership dues.

The five values of coworking are:

  • collaboration: we support and help each other, which in the best case leads to cooperation and new impulses or ideas

  • openness: open-mindedness in exchanging and dealing with each other

  • sustainability: by sharing resources

  • community: over time, a community of like-minded people and friendships are created

  • access: basically everyone is welcome. The good transport connection enables easy access.

Why the name PROFI TABLE?

The name PROFI TABLE is made up of the German word "Profi" and the English word "Table". We call the coworker a "professional" because they usually have a certain expertise from a wide variety of areas or industries. Whether architect, archaeologist, book author, IT specialist, web designer, photographer, HR manager or consultant - the diversity is an enrichment for us. By the "table" we mean the desk as your central work base, on the other hand the table for us also stands for communication: regulars' tables as a meeting point for people with common interests or the kitchen table to comfortably catch up with the latest world events.

The combination of the two makes it "profitable" from different points of view. A network of like-minded people is created, you share a high-quality infrastructure (which is very expensive to buy alone) and guests or customers no longer have to be received in the home office.

What is the working atmosphere like in the coworking space?

PROFI TABLE has a very generous cut compared to other coworking spaces - like an office with a loft character. This means that there is approx. 10-12 sqm space per coworker in the open space area. The interior is modern and of very high quality, in order to create a solid and creative atmosphere. Telephone calls and a coffee chat are part of everyday work, but we take care of each other to enable concentrated work. For the room acoustics, we have integrated decorative elements such as plants, room dividers or special murals. In the next few months we will invest even more here and, for example, set up a telephone box where you can withdraw for private conversations. Apart from that, there are two meeting rooms that can be booked for longer discussions and meetings or if you want to work completely undisturbed.

At lunchtime, we usually go out to eat together and take advantage of the many lunch options.

I would like to work outside of opening hours (weekends and evenings). Is that possible?

Yes, if your contract model includes 24/7 access! You will then receive your own key and have access to the coworking space at all times.

What do I have to bring to get started?

We are fully equipped. Therefore you only need your notebook (don't forget the charger) and you can start right away! If you prefer to work with LAN, you should bring a LAN cable with you.

Can I use PROFI TABLE as my business address?

Yes, if your contract model includes a business address with a company nameplate! Specifically, this means: Your logo or name will be placed on the signs on the street and on the front door. This will make it easier for you to be found by your visitors.

Since your name is also on the mailbox, your mail will reach us safely.

When does the contract term start?

As soon as you have decided on a contract model, we can set the start date individually for any day. You don't have to pay a deposit.

I don't know about coworking yet. Can I arrange a trial day?

Yes, a trial day is possible at any time. You can simply book a one day pass and if you decide to join our coworker community, the price will be applied. If you are interested, please send an email to hallo@coworking-profitable.de at the latest 1 day in advance with your desired date. A spontaneous visit is also possible - just call +49711/99 888-0. We are looking forward to your visit!

Are animals allowed in the coworking space?

In general, pets are not allowed. In special cases we can talk about an exception.
